Viewing or resetting the storage shelf order on a Veritas 5250 Appliance
The appliance hardware monitoring assigns IDs to the storage shelves to make sure that each one can be uniquely identified. If you remove or replace a storage shelf on a 5250 appliance, you need to reset the storage shelf order for proper monitoring. Use the following procedure to view or reset the shelf order.
To view or reset the storage shelf order
- Log in to the Flex Appliance Shell.
- Run one of the following commands:
To view the storage shelf order: support show-shelf-order
To reset the storage shelf order: support reset-shelf-order
