Running hardware tests on NetBackup appliances
You can perform a hardware test to gather information about your hardware health or to detect any errors that have occurred.
To run a hardware test
- From the AMS Home page, select the NetBackup appliance on which you would like to run a hardware test.
- Select Actions > Test Hardware from the menu.
- Confirm that you have selected the appliances on which you would like to perform the test. Click Next.
- You can run tests to check for hardware errors or to learn about hardware health. Select the type of hardware test you would like to run and click Submit.
- After the test is complete, you can view test results. You can choose to view results in a tabular format by clicking Format results.
