Removing one or more agents from the Appliance Management Console
Use the following procedures to remove one or more agents from the Appliance Management Console. You can remove Flex appliances as agents from either the Appliance Management Console or from the Flex Appliance Console.
To remove NetBackup appliances as agents
- On the Home page, select the agents that you want to remove.
- Click Remove.
- The following dialog box is displayed:
Click Remove to remove the selected appliances.
- After you remove an appliance from the Appliance Management Console, you must also unregister it from the AMS.
To unregister an appliance, run the Manage Agent Unregister command on the appliance from the NetBackup Appliance Shell Menu.
To remove Flex appliances from the Appliance Management Console
- From the AMS Home page, select the appliance you would like to remove. Click Remove.
- In the dialog box that appears, confirm that you would like to remove the appliance by selecting Remove. You can then check the Flex Appliance Console to confirm that the appliance has been removed.
To remove Flex appliances from the Flex Appliance Console
- From the Management server page under Settings, click Unregister.
- In the dialog box that appears, confirm that you would like to unregister the appliance by selecting Remove from AMS.
If the checkbox is not selected, the Flex appliance will remain visible on the AMS dashboard but you will not be able to perform any actions.
- Click Unregister. The Flex appliance will not be visible in the AMS dashboard.
