Explanation: The user tries to modify or to delete an instance or a database that does not exist.
Recommended Action: Do one of the following:
CLI: Make sure that the instance or the database name is spelled correctly. If working with a RAC database, the database unique name is case-sensitive.
On Windows, the instance name is not case-sensitive. On UNIX, the instance name is case-sensitive.
GUI: Refresh the view (F5 key).
