- If cluster configuration fails (for example because an IP address that was already in use is specified) and you try to reconfigure the cluster, the UI displays an error but the configuration process continues to run
- Validation error while adding VMware credentials to NetBackup
- NetBackup Web UI incorrectly displays some NetBackup Flex Scale processes as failed
- Unable to create BMR Shared Resource Tree (SRT) on NetBackup Flex Scale Appliance
- NetBackup configuration files are not persistent across operations that require restarting the system

Region settings management
You can use the > to set the time zone for the cluster and change the Network Time Protocol (NTP) settings.
Cluster time management
You can manually set the time zone for the cluster to avoid problems caused due to cluster time inaccuracy.
To set up the time zone for the cluster
- Go to Settings > Region settings.
- Click Set time zone. The Set cluster time zone dialog box is displayed.
- Under Region Name, click a region.
A list of city names is displayed under City Name. Choose a city name from the list or type the city name in the Search box.
Click Next.
- The task to set the time zone is initiated. Click Finish.
View the Recent activity icon in the top navigation bar for updates.
NTP server management
NTP is a networking protocol for clock synchronization between computer systems.
You can use the IP address that you specified during installation to help sync up the clock in the cluster, but you need to specify the correct time in the applicable time zone. You can change the NTP server, if needed.
You can perform the following operations:
Add one or more NTP servers to an existing list of NTP servers. NetBackup Flex Scale starts the synchronization process from the top of the list.
Remove an NTP server, if multiple NTP servers are configured.
Enable/disable NTP server but Veritas recommends that you do not disable the NTP server.
To add an NTP server
- Settings > Region settings. Under the NTP server management pane, click Add.
- Specify the name or the IP address for the NTP server. Click Next.
- The task to add the NTP server is initiated. Click Finish.
View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
To remove an NTP server
- Settings > Region settings. Under the NTP server management pane, click Remove.
- Specify the name or the IP address for the NTP server that you want to remove. Click Next.
- The task to remove the NTP server is initiated. Click Finish.
View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
