以下最佳做法可帮助您有效使用 Linux Agent：
使用 Linux Agent 备份用户数据和配置文件。但是，由于缺乏打开文件处理支持，Veritas 不建议将 Linux Agent 作为完整的灾难恢复系统。
为所选的备份方法选择“使用修改的时间”选项。
为备份作业禁用文件锁定。
从备份作业排除管道和套接字。
如果将目录添加到了 Autofs Automounter 实用程序，则手动将相同目录添加到 Backup Exec 排除列表。将这些目录添加到排除列表后，您可能会无意地避免备份诸如光盘驱动器的源中的数据。
为备份计算机的用户分配管理员权限或将该用户添加到 beoper 组。
对于不想备份的主机上的文件和目录，请在
ralus.cfg文件中输入文件和目录排除信息。添加此信息后，在备份过程中将会忽略这些文件和目录。定期运行小规模还原作业以测试存储介质的有效性。
如果 Linux 服务器上具有已装入 gvfs 的目录，请在尝试浏览 Linux 备份的选项或运行实际备份之前卸载这些目录。Linux 代理不支持备份或还原到 gvfs 文件系统。如果存在已装入 gvfs 的目录，则备份浏览实际备份无法进行并显示错误。
在 Backup Exec 中添加 Linux 代理时，请使用其他应用程序或服务未在使用的端口号。
