Job Success by Client report

This report shows the rate of success for client jobs.

The bar chart shows totals for successful, partially successful, and failed jobs for each client that is backed up by the selected master servers. Tool tips in the bars show these job counts. The tool tips for each client also include links to a drill-down report showing details for all job types.

Click Show Chart as Table link to display job counts of successful, partially successful, or failed jobs for each client in the selected timeframe.

Report Purpose

This report shows the job success by client. This report is valid for NetBackup and NetBackup Appliance.

The following table shows the filters for Job Success by Client report and how you can use these filters to view specific data in the report.

Select a view to show data for the selected view in the report. By default All My Views is selected.

Master Server

Master Server

Select one or more master servers to view data for the clients backed up by the selected master servers in the report. All master servers that are added to the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value drop-down list .

Example of filter usage: You may run the Job Success by Client report for a specific master server to view job success details for the clients that are protected by the specific master server.

The following enhancements have been made for the Job Success by Client report:

  • You can now drill down by clicking the bars in the report. A drill-down report called Job Details by Client is available.

  • The Report On parameter that let you group the report by Exit Status has been removed from the Modify Display Options page.
