Status & Success Rate > Status > Partially Successful Job Count report

This report aggregates partially successful jobs and shows these across a timeline. It provides a visualization of job volume trends that skip the files that are open during the backup job. It can be reported on against any view or level within a view along with any of the key backup infrastructure components (backup server, media server) and attributes (policy, policy type, schedule, OS, product, transport type). Filtering is available on all components and attributes. The primary use case of the report is verification of whether actions taken to correct the open file situation by moving the scheduling of the client or policies produce results and reversing trends.

The following table shows the filters for Partially Successful Job Count report and how you can use these filters to view specific data in the report.

Filter	Column	Description
View		Select a view to show data for the selected view in the report. By default All My Views is selected.
Master Server	Master Server	Select one or more master servers to view data for the selected master servers in the report. All master servers that are added to the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value drop-down list .
Media server	Media server	Select one or more media servers to view data for the specific media servers in the report. All media servers that are attached to the master servers in the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value drop-down list ..
Client	Client Name Client OS	Select one or more clients to view data for the selected clients in the report. All clients that are protected by the master servers in the OpsCenter console are listed. Select one or more client OS to view data for the selected client OS in the report.
Policy	Policy Data Classification Name Policy Keyword Policy Name Policy Type	Select one or more policy data classification names to view data for the selected policy data classification names. Select one or more policy keyword to view data for the policies having the selected keyword. Select one or more policy names to view data for the selected policies. Select one or more policy types to view data for the selected policy types.
Schedule	Schedule/Level Type Schedule Name	Select one or more schedule types like CINC, Copy, Daily etc. to view data for the selected schedule types. Select one or more schedule names to view data for the selected schedule names.
Job	Job Transport Type Job Type Product Type	Select one or more transport types like FT, LAN, or Unknown to view data for the jobs that have the selected transport type. By default, Backup jobs are shown in the report. You can select one or more job types like Archive, Backup, Restore etc. to view data for the selected job types. Select one or more backup products to view data for the selected products.
Attempt	Attempt Status	The Attempt Status column can have two values i.e. Attempt or Job. When Job Count is calculated, the report considers all attempts if Attempt is selected. By default, Job is selected. Number of attempts are not considered when Job is selected.

Example of filter usage: You may run the Partially Successful Job Count report for a specific policy to view partially successful jobs for the specific policy.

The following report enhancements have been made for Partially Successful Job Count report:

The unit Years has been added for Relative Timeframe selection.
You can now view data for the last x years.
The option Next has been removed from the drop-down menu for Relative Timeframe. You now cannot enter a relative timeframe like Next 2 weeks. This is because the report does not support any futuristic data.
The following options have been removed from Time Frame Group By selection:
- Days of week Average
- Days of week total
- Hours of day Average
- Hours of day Total
- Minutes
- Month of year Average
- Month of year total
- Quarter
- Quarter of year Average
- Quarter of year total
The following Report On options have been added under Backup Job Attributes:
- Job Status (Complete and Partial only)
- Job Status (Complete only)
The Schedule Name column is added under the Schedule filter to filter data by schedule name.
The report now also shows trendlines with customized average periods.
The following option has been added:
Show trendline with moving average period of 3. The value can be 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, or 30. The default value is 3.
Select Show trendline with moving average checkbox and use the drop-down list to specify the number of data points to factor into the average. At each interval on the graph, the trendline shows a moving average of the most recent data points. Example: 3 displays a trendline that, at each interval, shows the average of the current data point and the two previous data points.
UNKNOWN has been added as a value for Policy Type column in the Policy filter. You can now filter report data for policy types that are unknown. In earlier versions of OpsCenter the unknown policy types were shown as blank. Now all static columns like job type, schedule type, policy type, etc. are shown as UNKNOWN like in VBR
