UNIX logging directories for backup
During a backup, Snapshot Client messages are logged to the following directories. Create these directories using an access mode of 755 so NetBackup can write to the logs.
You can use the /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/mklogdir script to create these directories.
Table: UNIX logging directories for backup
Path of log directory | Where to create the directory |
|---|---|
NetBackup master server if Instant Recovery backup is set to snapshot only; otherwise, on media server | |
