Assigning permissions at specific KVM object levels
The RBAC administrator create RBAC roles for KVM that assign permissions to specific KVM objects.
To manage permissions for a KVM host
- On the left, go to Workloads > KVM. Then select the Hosts tab.
- In the right pane, locate and select the KVM host. Then select Manage permissions.
- Select Add.
- Select the role name and the permissions that you want to assign.
- Select Save.
To manage permissions for a KVM virtual machine
- On the left, go to Workloads > KVM. Then select the Virtual machines tab.
- Locate and select the virtual machine. Then select Manage permissions.
- Select Add.
- Select the role name and the permissions that you want to assign.
- Select Save.
