Error 5538: Cannot perform backup. Incorrect ownership is specified for the download staging path.

Explanation:

This error occurs if the NetBackup service user does not have ownership of the directory of the cache DB path on the backup host.

Workaround:

Provide ownership of the directory of the cache DB path on the backup host to the NetBackup service user. Try the backup again.
