Enable or disable a Snapshot Manager
Based on your preference, you can enable or disable a Snapshot Manager. If you disable a Snapshot Manager, you cannot discover assets or assign protection plans.
To enable or disable a Snapshot Manager
- On the left, click Workloads > Cloud.
- Click on the Snapshot Managers tab.
- Based on the Snapshot Managerstatus, select Enable or Disable.
Note:
After disabling a Snapshot Manager protection for the associated assets will start failing for that server. In that case, unsubscribe the assets from the protection plans or cancel any pending SLP operations to avoid seeing job failures during the time it is disabled.
