Step-5: Configure the data source

Select and click the link to open the dialog.
If you are using Oracle 19c, you must configure the connection URL in the data source.
Enter the for the data source. This is the same value as the Oracle user password, as supplied by the APTARE Administrator.
By default, this user/default schema is 'Portal' and click . This is the main user in APTARE IT Analytics Oracle database.
If you are using Oracle 19c and later, enter the hostname or IP address of the database in the Server field and set Format to (as shown in the image below).
In the field, add the MID server name that was created in Step-1.
If you are using Oracle 19c, add connection URL using this format:
jdbc:oracle:thin:@//<IP_Address_of_APTARE_PortalServer or hostname>:1521/scdb
where
scdbis the name of the APTARE Oracle database. If your Oracle database name is different then, replacescdbwith the name of your database.Perform the same steps mentioned above for the second data source: aptare_dataprotection_ds.
