To ensure the Oracle 19c upgrade on Linux contains all the current security updates, a patch must be installed on your system.
As part of this Oracle patch application, you need to ensure that the version of Oracle's OPatch utility is up to date, then it can be used to install the Database patch. There are five files included in this patch.
Following are the steps:
Download the files and pre-install setup.
Note:
You must download the required Oracle patches from the Veritas Download Center.
Upgrade OPatch.
Install the patch.
Verify the database and OJVM patch.
Verify JDK version update
