Changes introduced in Appliance Management Server 2.2
The following changes are introduced in this release.
The sorting and searching features on the dashboard of the Appliance Management Console have been enhanced. Sorting and searching preferences are now saved when you navigate to another page and then return to the dashboard.
AMS 2.2 supports the installation of all NetBackup Appliance maintenance release and security patch packages.
AMS no longer supports Flex appliances.
You can no longer configure an AMS as a container.
For Appliance Management Servers and agents on NetBackup Appliance 5.3, the following actions take longer than previous releases:
Configuration
Unregistration
The configuration and unregistration processes restart the web server, which disrupts existing connections to the NetBackup Appliance Web Console. You must sign back in once the operations are complete.
