About mounting the NetBackup software media

Use the examples in the following table as guidelines when you mount NetBackup DVDs. Check with your hardware vendor to see if you may need to use other flags or options.

Specifies the type of file system to mount.

-o

Translates the file names properly if required.

-r

Specifies that you want to mount the DVD for reading.

device_path

Specifies the name of the DVD drive.

mount_point

Specifies the directory where you want to mount the DVD.
