Pausing or resuming a volume migration
If a volume migration task is not complete, you can pause the migration and later resume it. The Pause/Resume operation is only available on a UNIX/Linux managed host with InfoScale Operations Manager version 6.0 or later.
To perform this task, your user group must be assigned the Admin role on the host or the Server perspective. The permission on the host may be explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization.
To pause a volume migration
- In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective, expand Solutions in the left pane, and click Storage Migration.
- In the Migration Status (by Schedule) tab, right-click the scheduled migration task and click Pause.
- In the Pause Migration wizard, select the volumes to pause and click Finish.
To resume a volume migration
- In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective, expand Solutions in the left pane, and click Storage Migration.
- In the Migration Status (by Schedule) tab, right-click the paused migration task and click Resume.
- In the Resume Migration wizard, select the volumes to resume and click Finish.
