Prerequisites for migration to AWS
To migrate an application from on-premise to AWS using Application Migration add-on:
Bi-directional connectivity should be present between AWS EC2 instance and on-premise cluster. This can be achieved by establishing a tunnel between on-premise network and AWS VPC in which the EC2 instances are present.
Necessary ports should be opened for adding AWS EC2 instances to InfoScale Operations Manager residing on-premise and for establishing VVR between on-premise cluster nodes and AWS EC2 instances.
To view the ports required to be opened for VVR , refer to the section Port numbers used by VVR in InfoScale Replication Administrator's Guide.
To view the ports required to be opened for Managed Host communication to Management Server, refer to the section Network and firewall requirements in InfoScale Operations Manager Installation and Configuration Guide.
Once communication is verified, add the AWS EC2 instance as managed host to InfoScale Operations Manager using Private IP of the instances.
