Implementing analytics in eDiscovery cases
The analytics feature lets you collect as much information about the items found in a case as possible. eDiscovery stores this information in the customer database, where it can exploit the full-text indexing functions of SQL Server. With the information stored and indexed, you can efficiently analyze it and determine exactly what is relevant.
A number of additional facilities become available in eDiscovery after it has collected and indexed the analytics data. You can do the following:
Set up rules by which eDiscovery automatically marks or categorizes the items that it adds to the case.
Conduct searches within specific items in a case.
Examine and review entire conversation threads in one view.
