Setting the configuration options for Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager
Many aspects of Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager are configurable. For example, you can specify the following:
The frequency with which Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager synchronizes custodian details with the corresponding Active Directory or Domino LDAP directory accounts.
The number of days that Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager should wait before it marks as deactivated a custodian for whom no Active Directory or Domino LDAP directory account is available.
Whether to delete the email addresses associated with a custodian before you synchronize the custodian with the corresponding Active Directory or Domino LDAP directory account.
To set the system configuration options for Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager
- In the Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager home page, click Settings.
- In the Settings for box in the Settings page, click the category of settings that you want to customize.
You can configure general Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager options (General). You can also control how Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager synchronizes the custodians with the corresponding Active Directory or Domino LDAP directory accounts (Profile Synchronization).
- For each option whose value you want to change, do the following in the order listed:
Click Edit at the right of the row.
Set the required value.
Click OK at the right of the row.
- When you have set all the required options, click OK at the bottom of the page to return to the previous page.
- If necessary, restart the Enterprise Vault eDiscovery Manager service to put your changes into effect.
