Ejecting media by using NetBackup Web UI
Use the NetBackup Web UI to eject media and generate reports for all vaults, for a single vault, or for a profile for which media have not yet been ejected.
When you select , the default selections on the Deferred Eject dialog box depend on whether you are ejecting for all vaults, for a single vault, or for a profile. From the dialog box, you can initiate the eject operation or preview the media to be ejected. The preview shows the session IDs for which the deferred eject occurs and the media IDs for each session selected. You also can select whether to generate the reports after the ejection.
To eject media using NetBackup Web UI
- Select the vault or profile for which you want to eject media.
- Select Actions > Deferred Eject.
- In the Deferred Eject dialog box, select or change any of the options. The options that are selected in the dialog box depend on whether you are ejecting for all vaults, for a single vault, or for a profile.
- Click Eject.
To preview the media to be ejected, click Get Preview, and then select one or more of the profiles in the Eject Preview window.
To monitor the progress of or cancel the eject operation, use NetBackupWeb UI Activity monitor.
