Host and Object matching improvements

This improvement is introduced specifically for environments having single IT Analytics domain with multi-client setup (HMI). The improved logic will allow assigning a different host matching identifier (HMI) at the Data Collector policy level. Previously, a Data Collector policy was used to get an HMI, same as the Data Collector level, but now a different HMI can be applied at Policy level. In summary, following changes have been made:

  • Supporting HMI for hosts created during NetBackup IT Analytics Data Collector policy creation. This includes policy server to automatically inherit policy's HMI during policy creation.

  • Showing HMI in inventory under Host grid report.
