Cluster Server (VCS) agents provide high availability for specific resources and applications. Each agent manages resources of a particular type. Typically, agents start, stop, and monitor resources and report state changes. The agent pack includes the currently shipping agents and is re-released quarterly to add the new agents that are now under development.
