Web service API fails with FIPS-enabled VIOM CMS (4040990)
Using the xprtlc command, when you start a web services API on a FIPS-enabled VIOM CMS, the API fails with the following error message:
Failed to establish secure connection (err=168)
Workaround:
To make the web services API work, use the cURL command instead of the xprtlc command.
