Support for FIPS mode
Starting with version 8.0, Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager supports FIPS mode on VIOM Management Server that is installed on Linux systems, and Agents that are running on Linux, Solaris, or AIX platforms. Configuration of VIOM to run in FIPS mode includes the following sequence of process:
Enabling the FIPS mode on VIOM Management Server (installed on Linux)
Enabling the FIPS mode on the third-party components that are used in VIOM (Tomcat, Java)
Enabling the FIPS mode on VIOM Agents (Linux, Solaris, and AIX)
