Table: Setting up NBWSS communication between NetBackup and a cloud-based application
Sequence | Tasks |
---|---|
Task 1 | The service provider develops a component in the cloud application that communicates with NetBackup by means of NBWSS messages. For more information, refer to the following topic: |
Task 2 | The service provider sends the cloud application's WebSocket endpoint details to the NetBackup administrator. |
Task 3 | To add the endpoint to NetBackup, the NetBackup administrator saves the endpoint details as access credentials. See Saving NetBackup credentials for a WebSocket server endpoint. |
Task 4 | The NetBackup administrator can adjust the properties of NBWSS. For example, you can change the time interval at which NetBackup starts a new connection to a cloud application. See Configuring the properties of the NetBackup WebSocket Service (NBWSS). |
