Troubleshooting IGC native rendering issues using the 7070 log

Description

eDiscovery appliances run a web service to log IGC native rendering tasks.  A system administrator can access this  web page from the eDiscovery appliance using the browser address http://localhost:7070/log

1.  Login to the appliance.

2. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:7070/log

From there, the Job processing log will be available to obtain more detailed information about the interaction between the eDiscovery system and the IGC native rendering module. 

 

In the screen shot above, the last item to be rendered has failed because of publish error.  The administrator can click on the Details button to get more information about the error.

With the additional details, the administrator can see error messages, temp locations, time out settings and other  details to help debug the issue.

 Note: The 7070\log information can also be found in the appliance under the services user account in an xml text file in i.e.  C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Informative Graphics Corp\rie_nie_logfile.xml
