To change the date, the time, and the time zone configuration

1. Log on to the NetBackup Appliance Web Console.
2. Click Settings > Date and Time.
3. Enter the appropriate information in the fields:

   Select Time Zone

   To assign a time zone to the appliance, click on the Time zone drop-down box and select the appropriate region, country, and time zone.

   Set Date and Time

   You can select any one of the following options to set the date and the time for the appliance. Use NTP server date and time settings - Use this option to synchronize the appliance with an NTP server. In the Server IP or Host name field, specify the IP address or the host name of the NTP server Specify date and time - Use this option to manually specify the date and time. In the Date field, click the calendar to select the appropriate date (in month, date, and year or the mm/dd/yyyy format). In the Time field, enter the time in hh:mm:ss format.

4. Click Save.

   You can also configure the Date and Time settings using the Main > Network > Date commands under the NetBackup Appliance Shell Menu. For more information on the Date command refer to the NetBackup Appliance Command Reference Guide.
