Settings > Notifications > Login Banner
The Settings > Notifications > Login Banner page lets you create a customized text banner that appears when you access the appliance. After you create and configure the login banner, it appears in both the NetBackup Appliance Shell Menu and the NetBackup Appliance Web Console. You can use the login banner to communicate important information to users, such as a corporate security policy.
Use the
check box to turn on and off the login banner.By default, the login banner appears when anyone tries to access an appliance-specific interface. You can choose to have the login banner appears in the NetBackup Console by selecting the
check box.The login banner consists of the following two elements:
250 characters maximum
Standard English alphabet
Unlimited characters
Standard English alphabet
