NIST hash sets

You can import NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) hash sets for known files. These files are not displayed to the user in the Ingest Connector.

To import NIST hash sets

  1. From the menu bar, click Tools > Import NIST Hash Sets.
  2. When the Ingest Connector opens the Open dialog, navigate to and select the desired Hash Set (NSRLFile.txt), then click Open.
