Manually archiving items and folders
Enterprise Vault performs automatic archiving in the background and does not require any action from you, but there may be occasions when you want to archive items manually. You can perform this operation if your administrator has set up Enterprise Vault to permit it.
To archive items and folders manually
- Select one or more items or folders that you want to archive.
Note that you cannot archive a complete mailbox.
- Click Store on the toolbar or, on the Enterprise Vault Client application menu, choose Store in Vault.
- If you want to archive a folder, choose whether to archive its subfolders as well.
