Customizing Enterprise Vault
You can customize the appearance of the Enterprise Vault toolbar by changing its horizontal or vertical orientation and hiding the text labels on it. You can also set your system preferences for Enterprise Vault, such as choosing whether to hide or show the Enterprise Vault Client application menu on the menu bar.
To customize the appearance of the Enterprise Vault toolbar
- Click the settings icon at the top right of the Enterprise Vault toolbar.
- Set the orientation of the toolbar to horizontal (Wide) or vertical (Tall), and choose whether to show the text labels on the toolbar.
- Click OK.
To set your system preferences for Enterprise Vault
- On the Enterprise Vault Client application menu, choose Enterprise Vault Preferences.
- In the Attach toolbar to box, select the email client with which to associate the Enterprise Vault toolbar.
- Select or clear Show Enterprise Vault application in the menu bar.
If you choose to hide the Enterprise Vault Client application menu, you can restore it later by clicking Apple menu > System Preferences and then clicking Enterprise Vault.
