About installation and configuration
The NetBackup administrator normally installs and configures Backup, Archive, and Restore. Installation and configuration include the following:
Install and configure the NetBackup client software and the Backup, Archive, and Restore interface on the computers that are backed up in your computer environment.
Configure the client software to work with the NetBackup servers in your environment.
If user-directed operations are allowed in your NetBackup environment, you should not have to configure Backup, Archive, and Restore.
If changes to the configuration are needed, contact your NetBackup administrator.
