Introduction
Note:
Version 8.0.320 is not qualified for Kubernetes. Check the supported platform support matrix for more information. See Supported platforms. For installing on Kubernetes, refer to Veritas InfoScale™ for Kubernetes Environments 8.0.300 - Linux documentation on Veritas SORT.
Veritas InfoScale in Containers Environment offers advanced security of data at rest with KMS-based (Key Management Server) encryption. You can use an external Key Management Server to manage the encryption key. Encryption is supported for Volumes and disk groups. However, DR configuration is not supported for disk group level encryption. You must add an external CA certificate (custom CA certificate) first to enable connection with the Key Management Server (KMS).
Note:
Whenever the InfoScale cluster is reconfigured, ensure that you generate the client certificate again and update the KMS server.
