Enabling the debug logging for NetBackup for SharePoint Server manually
To turn on debug logging, create the log directories in the following location:
install_path\NetBackup\logs
Create the following log directories on the SQL Server, the front-end web server, the media server, and the primary server.
After you create these directories and perform a backup or restore, debug logging information is placed in a subdirectory that has the name of the process directory. For legacy logging, the file is named mmddyy.log. For unified logging, the log file is in a format that is standardized across Veritas products. To view the logs that use unified logging, use lv.exe or vxlogview.
For more information about unified logging, see the NetBackup Administrator's Guide, Volume I. For information on how to use the log commands, see the NetBackup Troubleshooting Guide.
