NetBackup IT Analytics Exporter Installation and Configuration Guide

Upgrade or reinstall the exporter

Ensure you have addressed the prerequisites specified for the exporter installation before you proceed to upgrade or reinstall the exporter.

ISO-based upgrade on Linux host

Run the exporter_installer.sh script from the ISO of the new version of the exporter. The script detects the existing exporter files and prompts to overwrite the files. You must overwrite the files and continue with the upgrade or reinstallation.

RPM based upgrade on Linux host

  1. Install the RPM:

    # rpm -Uvh VRTSexporter-<version>.x86_64.rpm

    Note:

    Replace the version string with the required portal versions.

  2. Run the script:

    /opt/itanalytics/utils/exporter_installer.sh
