Collect data from MFA-enabled Veritas Flex Appliance
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled from Flex Appliance v4.0. The Data Collector policy is enhanced to access MFA-enabled Veritas Flex Appliance through a secret key along with the user credentials provided during the policy configuration. The policy configuration pop-up now has an additional field to enter a secret key for the MFA-enabled appliance. The secret key is generated and stored with the user credentials while providing access to MFA-enabled Veritas Flex Appliance. The same secret key and credentials can be used to configure the NetBackup IT Analytics Veritas Flex Appliance Data Collector policy.
Any edits made to the profile of MFA-enabled Veritas Flex Appliance user generates a new secret key. Remember to update the new key in NetBackup IT Analytics Veritas Flex Appliance policy if the same user credentials are configured in the policy.
