What's New - Features, enhancements, and changes

System Health Insights offers a unified, SaaS-based platform that helps manage your data protection solution through its complete life cycle.

System Health Insights April 2026 release includes the following features and enhancements.

This release introduces improvements to appliance registration, self-service onboarding for Secure Quorum, and an infrastructure update to AutoSupport Call Home endpoints for supported appliance platforms.

Appliance Registration Using Entitlement ID

You can now register appliances using the Entitlement ID available in the Cohesity Support portal as a secondary identifier.

  • Hardware Sales Order Number and Hardware Support ID are no longer required for registration.

Secure Quorum: Self‑Service Security Administrator Onboarding

System Health Insights Team Admins can now onboard Security Administrators for Secure Quorum directly from the portal, without raising an email request.

  • Eligibility banners

    Informational banners appear on the landing page and Team Management pages when eligible appliances are detected.

  • Self-service onboarding

    Team Admins can initiate onboarding from the Team Details page and assign exactly two team members as Security Administrators.

  • You can add up to five Security Administrators (minimum two required at all times) post initial onboarding.

  • Approval workflow

    • All Onboarding requests are submitted for approval with email notifications sent to System Health Insights team members and Cohesity account representatives.

    • Requests may be denied if eligibility requirements are not met or if assigned team members cannot be verified. Additional information may be requested by the System Health Insights team anytime during the process.

  • Post-onboarding configuration

    • You must configure requesters and approvers before you will be able to see the Access Key tab under the Support tab in System Health Insights.

AutoSupport Call Home Endpoint Change

AutoSupport Call Home endpoints have transitioned from the veritas.com domain to the cohesity.com domain for specific appliance platforms and software versions.

Customer action required If your environment uses firewalls, proxies, or outbound allowlists, allow HTTPS access to:

*.appliance.cohesity.com

Affected platforms

  • NetBackup Flex appliance models 51xx, 52xx, 53xx running software 7.0 or later.

  • Access appliance models 33xx running software 8.6 or later.

Not affected

  • All other appliance platforms and software versions continue to use the veritas.com domain.

There is no change to AutoSupport functionality or the data collected.
