Creating a snapshot
Snapshots are automatically created by the NetBackup for OpenStack scheduler. If necessary or in case of deactivated scheduler, you can create a snapshot on demand.
There are two possibilities to create a snapshot on demand.
Possibility 1: From the policy overview
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Policies.
Identify the policy to create a snapshot.
Click .
Provide a name and description for the snapshot.
Decide between Full and Incremental Snapshot.
Click .
Possibility 2: From the policy snapshot list
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Policies.
Identify the policy to create a snapshot.
Click the policy name to enter the policy overview.
Navigate to the Snapshots tab.
Click .
Provide a name and description for the snapshot.
Decide between Full and Incremental Snapshot.

--full Specify if a full snapshot is required.
