Pre-requisites for vSAN Data Collection

Currently vSAN data collection supports only the virtual center server.

vSAN configuration should be enabled on the VMWare Cluster of Virtual Center to perform vSAN data collection.

vSAN configurations

The following vSAN services should be enabled on the VMWare Cluster of virtual center to collect the vSAN details of each cluster.

  • vSAN iSCSI Target Service

  • Historical Health Service

  • Data Service

  • Network

  • File Service
