About the NetBackup Flex Scale management console
You can administer your NetBackup Flex Scale appliance cluster configuration using the NetBackup Flex Scale user interface (UI), referred to as the infrastructure management console. This console provides a centralized consolidated graphical view of your entire appliance configuration. After installing and configuring the NetBackup Flex Scale cluster, you can use the management console to view all the cluster details such as the cluster nodes, the storage that is available on those nodes, and the services running on the appliance.
To access the infrastructure management console
- Open a web browser and type the following URL in the address bar:
https://ManagementServerIPorFQDN:14161/
If you are using IPv6 addresses, use the following URL syntax:
https://[ManagementServerIP]:14161/
Here, ManagementServerIP is the public IP address or FQDN that you specified for the NetBackup Flex Scale management server and API gateway during the cluster configuration.
Note:
Your browser may display a security certificate validation message. You may have to resolve the error by adding a security exception for the specified URL.
- On the sign in page, specify the administrative user name and password that you created during the cluster configuration and then click Sign In.
- The Dashboard tab displays the various elements of your cluster configuration.
You can use the infrastructure UI for performing administrative tasks such as:
Monitoring and managing the appliance services and storage utilization
Monitoring and managing the infrastructure components such as nodes, storage disks, and network
Monitoring the appliance performance and data reduction levels
