Before you begin

Ensure that the following prerequisites are met in your environment:

  • Passwordless SSH communication is established between the Ansible server and the nodes that are to be managed by the Ansible server. The pl utility can be used to set up the SSH and RSH connections automatically.

  • Ensure that Python 2.6 or later is installed and configured on all the systems in the environment. Use a Python Jinja2 template engine of version 8 or later.
