Supported upgrade paths if continuous replication is configured

The following describes the supported upgrade paths to Veritas Access version 8.0 if continuous replication is configured on the cluster.

  • Direct upgrade path

    You can upgrade directly from version 7.4.3 and 7.4.3.x to version 8.0.

  • Multi-step upgrade path

    Any appliance running an earlier version must first be upgraded to 7.4.3 or 7.4.3.x before you upgrade to version 8.0.

Note:

Rolling upgrade is not supported from any pre-7.4.3 version to any post-7.4.3 version if continuous replication is configured.
