About cloud connectors
Cloud connectors let you use cloud storage as a tier to manage your storage needs with agility and flexibility. You can build a hybrid storage environment that seamlessly integrates local on-premises storage with cloud storage.
With cloud connectors, you can migrate data from on-premises storage to cloud storage. Expensive DAS and SAN storage can thus be freed up for mission-critical data or high-performance applications while less frequently used data can be moved to the cloud tier.
