DESCRIPTION
Use this command to operate the LEDs of a disk drive. This command enables you to flash or stop flashing the LEDs of a disk drive.
OPTIONS
- Beacon Start WWID MINS WWID
Start flashing the LEDs by WWID of the disk drive. Minutes is the duration of time, in minutes, that LEDs can flash. If the specified WWID is not valid, the WWID of all the disk drives in the appliance are displayed.
- Beacon Stop WWID WWID
Stop flashing the LEDs by WWID of disk drive. If the specified WWID is not valid, the WWID of all the disk drives in the appliance are displayed.
- Beacon Start HDD MINS EID [SID]
Start flashing the LEDs by Enclosure ID and Slot ID of the disk drive. Minutes is the duration of time, in minutes, that lights can flash. The slot ID is set to a default value of all. If slot ID is not specified, LEDs of the entire enclosure start flashing. For the Enclosure ID, you can set the value to 0 or 62. The EID 0 represents the disk drives located in the primary storage shelf and 62 represents the drives located in the compute node.
- Beacon Stop HDD EID [SID]
Stop flashing the LEDs by Enclosure ID and Slot ID of a disk drive. The slot ID is set to the default value of all. If slot ID is not specified, LEDs of the whole enclosure stop flashing.
