Installing NetBackup for MariaDB Agent
To install the agent
- Download the
NBMariaDBAgent_version number.zipfile. - Extract the file that applies to your operating system:
(Windows)
NBMariaDBAgent_version number_AMD64/(Linux RHEL)
NBMariaDBAgent_version number_linuxR_x86/(Linux SUSE)
NBMariaDBAgent_version number_linuxS_x86/ - Run the file that applies to your operating system
(Windows)
NBMariaDBAgent_8.2_AMD64/Setup.exe(Linux RHEL)
NBMariaDBAgent_8.2_linuxR_x86/VRTSnbmariadbagent.rpmUse the rpm -ivh VRTSnbmariadbagent.rpm command.
(Linux SUSE)
NBMariaDBAgent_8.2_linuxS_x86/VRTSnbmariadbagent.rpmUse the rpm -ivh VRTSnbmariadbagent.rpm command.
- Type y to accept the VERITAS LICENSE AGREEMENT. The agent gets installed at the default location.
Note:
Ensure that the MariaDB agent and NetBackup are of same version for successful backup and restore operations.
To accept the EULA agreement automatically (silent installation), create a /tmp/AgentInstallAnswer.conf file with following content:
Yes - to accept the EULA agreement
No - to decline EULA agreement
