Configuring SAP HANA logs view in Activity Monitor

You can view the logs that are generated during a SAP HANA backup in the Activity Monitor in the NetBackup master server. A large number of logs are generated during the backup. A large number of logs might make searching other important activity logs difficult. You can manage the SAP HANA logs on the Activity Monitor by configuring the display properties.

To configure SAP HANA logs view in Activity Monitor, perform the following steps:

On a NetBackup master server that has SAP HANA backups configured, in the left pane, select Activity Monitor.
In the NetBackup Administration Console, select View > Filter.
In the Filter window, click the Advanced tab.
In the Field column, select Profile and in the Comparison column, select not equal to.
In the Value field, enter SAP_LOG and click Add to List.
The definition gets included in the criteria list.
Click OK.
Activity monitor does not display SAP HANA logs until you remove this filter.
