Adding NetBackup for Sybase scripts to the backup selections list
The following procedures describe how to add scripts to the backup selections list. Review the information on backup scripts if necessary.
Note:
Be sure to specify the correct script names in the backup selections list to prevent an error or possibly a wrong operation. Make sure that the script resides on the client before you try to add it to the backup selections list.
To add scripts to the backup selections list
- Open the Policy dialog box.
To access the Policy dialog box, double-click the policy name in the Policies list in the NetBackup Administration Console.
- Click the Backup Selections tab.
- Click New.
- In the Script box, type the full path name of a script on the client.
For example:
/backup_scripts/db/cold_backup.sh
C:\backup_scripts\db\cold_backup.cmd
- Click Add.
- Choose one of the following:
- Click OK.
