Deleting Skype for Business archiving targets
You can use the Administration Console or PowerShell to delete Skype for Business targets.
To use the Administration Console to delete Skype for Business archiving targets
- In the left pane of the Administration Console, locate the Targets node.
- Under Targets, click the Skype for Business container.
The available Skype for Business targets are listed.
- Right-click a Skype for Business target and then, on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the Skype for Business target.
To use PowerShell to delete Skype for Business archiving targets
- In the Enterprise Vault Management Shell, run the Remove-EVSkypeForBusinessTarget command, and specify the following:
The site ID using the -SiteId parameter (optional).
The fully qualified domain name of the computer running Skype for Business Server. Use -TargetComputerFQDN.
Whether to run the command in test mode. You can see the expected changes without implementing them. Use -WhatIf.
Whether to prompt before the delete operation is actioned. To avoid the confirmation prompt, use -Confirm:$False.
Remove-EVSkypeForBusinessTarget -TargetComputerFQDN "skype01.example.com"
Removes the Skype for Business archiving target that is associated with the target computer skype01.example.com.
Get-EVSkypeForBusinessTarget | Remove-EVSkypeForBusinessTarget
Removes all Skype for Business archiving targets for the current site. If you do not specify a site ID and New-EVSkypeForBusinessTarget cannot determine the site, you are prompted to enter the site ID.
