Using Compliance Accelerator or Discovery Accelerator with Skype for Business Archiving
Both of the Enterprise Vault Accelerator products, Compliance Accelerator and Discovery Accelerator, can conduct searches of archived Skype for Business conversations. In both products, Skype for Business conversations are treated as messages of type Instant Messaging.
In order for Compliance Accelerator and Discovery Accelerator to process Skype for Business conversations, an SMTP, Domino Journal or Exchange Journal archive must be used. We recommend that you use an SMTP archive.
In addition, some configuration steps are required:
For both products, ensure that they can get the SIP addresses of the Skype for Business users.
For Compliance Accelerator only, ensure that it can determine the correct direction of travel of the Skype for Business conversations.
The configuration steps are described in detail below. For more information on Compliance Accelerator and Discovery Accelerator, see the documentation that accompanies them.
